AGARTALA / KAILASHAHAR, June 15 (TIWN): With worsening situations, Northeast state Tripura is receiving more showers on Friday leading dangers for all districts and Unakoti District is the highest sufferer. Agriculture Minister Pranajit Singha Roy said, massive losses in Agriculture will be reported, even though govt is right now focusing on rescue operations and relief camps. Total 13609 families took shelter in 90 relief camps at Unakoti and at night around 300 more people were rescued. Even though Manu river water level decreased but since Friday morning incessant rain has hit various Districts. National rescue teams have been deployed in each affected area of the state and Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath has claimed, in recent year such a dangerous flood state Tripura didn’t face. 3 people have died so far in this flood and rescue operation has been continuing. The Minister also added that in Tripura no state govt took such a speedy decision earlier.

“First we need to save the people and then damage repairing issues will come. Right now Manu river’s water flowing is 23.90 metre. Earlier the water level was much above than the danger level i.e. 24 metre”, he added.
