59.59 % students passed in TBSE Madhyamik

AGARTALA, June 12 (TIWN): Passing rate of TBSE Madhyamik is 59.59 %, TBSE President Mihir Deb said.
Total 35,926 students appeared in Madhyamik and the passed out students numbers are 21,408.
All together 17,503 male candidates appeared in the exam and 11.005 students passed. Passing percentage of male candidates is. 62.87 %
Total 18,423 female candidates appeared in the exam and 10,403 students have passed out. Passing percentage of male candidates is. 56.47 %.
This year Madhyamik topper is Akashdeep De, Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan HS School. Akashdeep got 486 marks in total.
Total 22 students are ranking in the top 10 positions.
