AGARTALA, June 10 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M MP Jitendra Choudhury on Saturday said, the demolition of party offices on the basis illegal construction, may go through 'law' related words, but seeing the background of tiny state Tripura which mark a history with "udbastus" such offices authentication can't be judge so easily.
"Thousands of Udbastus took shelter in forests and from house to party offices all were constructed on govt lands. The land act was not updated later. So, according to law it may be built on illegal lands, but the way BJP Govt demolished party offices without any discussion, it has proven how much one-way ruler the govt is", Jitendra Choudhury said.
"Political parties practices democracy. They fight the election for MP and MLAs, but all the party offices have been bulldozed without a single discussion", Jitendra Choudhury told media.
"The party office demolition without discussion has been marked as opposite-to-Democracy", MP added.
