AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): Leftists student union SFI has placed a deputation to the Vice Chancellor of Tripura University Anjan Kumar Ghosh in demand of decreasing the heavily hiked exam fees.
SFI in a deputation, raised issue about the double hiked fee of the University recently, which is becoming almost impossible for the poor students to bear.
The fee which was limited within 2000-3000 rupees, have now hiked at 10,000-12,000 rupees.
SFI also said, since few years, chronologically the fees are being hiked in the University but recently it was made double. Voicing against the increasing fees in Govt organization amid plenty of corruption allegations, SFI placed deputation to the Vice Chancellor.
Earlier, BJP backed student union ABVP also staged demonstration in front of VC's office, but much tainted VC till day is playing hide and sick with students.
