AGARTALA, June 5 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Tuesday claimed, once Tripura will get Wi-Fi service and stable networks in each of its village and town, crime against women will be zero. But when ??? No specific timeline. Chief Minister was addressing at BJP headquarter in Krishnagar Agartala in a Mohila Morcha conducted meeting, which was attended by National BJP leader Puja Kapil Mishra. CM said, “Tripura Govt is planning for E-filing, E-Governance. Already in the Secretariat Bio-metric, Transparent e-PDS have been introduced. PM Modi’s dream about Digitization will also be succeeded, each and all forms of Digitization will be implemented in this stateâ€. “Each village to be connected with Wi-Fi yojna and when mobile network will be stable then crime against women will take total break. After getting stable network, if a man looks at a woman with bad intention the woman can immediately call helplines and police will reach. This is how crime against women will end shortly in Tripuraâ€, CM said.
“BJP Govt has announced 10 % reservation for women in police force. It will tremendously help to decrease crime against women. Only women can save women and that's why the reservation is”, said CM.
The Chief Minister also said, “If women are not safe, then a state is not safe and also the country is unsafe. I urge my sisters and mothers to bless me so that I don’t need to compromise anywhere. I need blessing of all of you so that I get strength to fulfill all the promises done in the vision document”.
Here it can be pointed, since the reservation for women police force was announced, there was no planning for developing the policing. Due to lack of training, motivation women police remained just for namesake here in Tripura except few top IPS or TPS women police officers.
