Kamalpur, June 5 (TIWN): Tripura team stamped a significant mark in the North Eastern level Thang Soo Do(Korean Karate) competition by grabbing Runners Up trophy. Besides the team attained success in medal tally by grabbing 12 golds, 8 silvers and 9 bronzes. Three players achieved 2nd Dan Blackbelt. The team also snatched the Best Discipline Award in the tournament. The players informed last night when they met the Sports Minister Manoj Kanti Deb at his residence at Kamalpur.

The competition was held at the Bhogeswanri Phukanani Indoor Stadium in Guwahati on 2nd and 3rd June.  Minister Manoj Kanti Deb congratulated the team and told them to keep up the spirit to fame the state.
