AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): Locals have come in massive protest after spotting poor construction work in Howrah river protection work.

Since few days construction works had started on Howrah river bank aiming to stop the flood chances on the river banks and few artificial boulders are being constructed for that.

But locals have alleged that the works are going on with very raw materials without proper observation and monitoring.

If the works continue like this, the boulders will be spoiled soon after putting on river sides.

Locals today have called media, alleging about the ongoing poor construction works on river banks. They have drawn the attention of state govt in that issue.
