AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): With a shocking note against BJP-IPFT's much claimed "Law and Order" propaganda, it has been revealed that IPFT is directly controlling various rural developmental works in ADC areas, whereas many officers are also following the party instructions without any hesitation. Since around 3 months of the BJP-IPFT Govt's formation in Tripura, allegations had been raising that many rural schemes are sufferings due to political committees direct interference into govt offices. However, all such allegations were denied by the BJP-IPFT Govt on yesterday led by Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarma and IPFT Ministers. Today CPI-M MP Jiten Chaudhury re-attacked the BJP-IPFT Govt exposing the ongoing issues across the state to cite CPI-M's allegations are true. Referring a letter where a BDO asked RD Dept officials not to continue any developmental work without IPFT's permission, MP Jiten Chaudhury said, "The ruling govt talks tall about Law & Order but the reality is harsh ! Infact, there is no Law and Order existing in the state under BJP-IPFT Govt. Allover the state a competition of Loot is going on".
The incident took place at Ganganagar block, where IPFT Asst General Secretary Jibanjoy Reang directed the local BDO about "Execution of various developmental works through Monitoring Committee of IPFT".
Jitendra Chaudhury raised question, "What is the existence of Monitoring Committee in Village Panchayat and Gram Panchayat ? In case of ADC there are Village committee, then BAC and all above the Khumlwng Headquarter existing. There is no existence of Monitoring Committee at all, but the Asst General Secretary of IPFT Jibanjoy Reang ordered BDO not to indulge in any work without IPFT's permission"
"Getting that letter the BDO had directed all RD Dept officers, Local Panchayat on May 22 not to do any work without IPFT's permission", the MP added.
"This is totally a violation of the Govt work culture and rules, regulations. A BDO can't break protocol with such activities", Chowdhury said.
The MP also demanded the suspension of the BDO on temporary basis. The temporary suspension was demanded by MP as according to him, Tripura state govt employees left with no other option but strictly to follow the orders of the BJP, IPFT politicians.
