AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): Not only teachers crisis, but state Tripura is suffering from Doctors crisis heavily since 25 years CPI-M era and also Colleges suffering from lack of Asst Professors, followed by BJP’s two & half months rule. Once again when the 12222 vacant posts are being mentioned by the BJP led state govt, tensions are on peak among B.Ed qualified job aspirants, will the Govt welcome the unqualified teachers to join as teachers.
Recently after B.Ed College students held protest in front of Secretariat, legal actions allegedly were taken against them which shut down further protest. Above 7000 undergoing and passed out teachers are there, who are now completing B.Ed degree.
If the Govt waits for two years hardly, all teachers crisis to be mitigated without any compromising with the Education system. But if the Govt recruit B.Ed-less and less academic scored candidates then there will be no difference between CPI-M and the BJP Govt.
BJP Govt is repeatedly reminding the teachers-crisis situation via press conferences and speeches, which clearly signals that with various kinds of relaxations including may be ‘age’ the govt will jump to recruit people in teaching by compromising quality education.
However, B.Ed less teachers recruitment in schools (if) will be equivalent to appointing Nurses in Doctors’ posts and appointing Asst Professors without NET or P.hD.
Even though, BJP Govt is working hard to overcome Supreme Court's verdict, but question raises, how can Supreme Court.
