AGARTALA, June 1 (TIWN): Continuing and passed out state Veterinary College students' demands are very logical and the minimum protest they held at their College by burning tires along with two days strike have proven as appropriate move when such a mentally imbalanced, arrogant Director is ruling over the Dept. Without registration a degree is valueless but who can make the corrupt officials to understand the students agonies and tensions. However, today ARDD Director Asit Chakraborty has insulted, attacked media, shut door on media person's faces just because they went to cover the deputation placing event by SFI, CPI-M's student wing. Ofcourse the Veterinary students problems started in CPI-M era and nobody can deny that Ex-CM Manik Sarkar also neglected the demands of the students but now even though the Govt has been changed, in reality no change has come in the administration. Today when media persons were accompanying SFI and TSU during a deputation was placed before the Director on that time this incident took place.

The Director lost his temper after facing the media persons in his chamber and also journalists who were present at there said, if they hadn't immediately close their cameras then it might had become worse as the Director lost all his tempers.

After such behaviour, the Director's role is totally under scanner and also it's under doubt whether the whole registration process of the students were delayed due to Ashit Chakraborty's Directorship ? Hence Chief Minister Biplab Deb can send him to a psychologist or can admit him in a mental hospital.

Noteworthy, on May 31, State Veterinary students have withdrawn their ongoing strike after Director in the presence of media and Tripura Veterinary Association had promised that their problems to be sorted out soon.

The officials also expressed concerns regarding seriousness of the students problems, but after today's incident once again it's becoming hazy to believe how far such arrogant Directors are 'actually' concerned.

The students of Veterinary College started the strike on May 28 demanding registrations. The students locked gate saying, “We are mouths without Teeth without Registration”.

They also displayed banners saying “Without Registration we are Worthless” etc. The students also raised voice saying, “Wake up authority”, “Value our tears”, “You can’t play with our futures”, “Please Give our registration, we want to work for the society”.

According to the students, Tripura State Veterinary College's affiliation was expired and since two years students are passing out without any registration numbers.
