AGARTALA / MELAGHAR, May 27 (TIWN): At least 11 persons were injured seriously in a road accident on Sunday morning, whereas one died on spot at the Melaghar-Bisramganja way.

One of the 11 injured persons has been referred in GB hospital in serious condition. 

It was known that a vehicle bearing number TR01Y-1510 carrying vegetables while was on the way to Bisramganj market had met the accident near Melaghar coal centre.

Locals alleged that due to high speed of the vehicle this incident has taken place. 

In that incident Alangir Hossain (35) has died on spot, whereas rest 11 were hospitalized immediately.

One of the injured persons was referred to GB hospital in critical condition from Melaghar hospital.
