AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Counterattacking Congress for observing 'Betrayal Day' on the 4th anniversary of Modi Govt at Centre, Tripura BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb said when whole Northeast was deprived for long 70 years of independence BJP led Central Govt under PM Modi has invested only for Northeast Railway Rs. 89,000 crores. The Chief Minister was addressing at BJP headquarter in a press conference highlighting on Modi Govt's constructive works held in last four years. Addressing media, Biplab Deb said, "From National Highway to Railway all types of connectivity works received a massive boost and speed under the Modi Govt. "Earlier budget meant only fare related issues or new trains launching but today the meaning of Railway budget has been changed totally".
"Tripura not only got broad gauge but recently also we were also facilitated with Humsafar train's second service. From Tripura Sundari to Rajdhani, what not the Modi Govt has given to Tripura ?"The Chief Minister also highlighted the National Highway Project, Murda Yojna, GST's positive impacts, Farmer friendly budget etc.
Biplab Deb also claimed that GST has successfully increased revenues of each state whereas Demonetization stopped black money business in India.
"Since demonetization not a penny could go out of India illegally", CM added.
Biplab Deb also assured to double farmers income in Tripura and pineapple project was one of them.
