AGARTALA / UDAIPUR, May 25 (TIWN): Two BJP activists (couple) suspended over domestic violence allegations here in Tripura.

These two activists are husband, wife in relation have allegedly beaten the widow mother of the man.

In the suspension order, Gomati Dist President Padma Mohon Jamatia said, “Manik Das, the existing SC Morcha Mandal President, Gopa Das, General Secretary of Mohila Morcha 31 of R K Pur Mandal are hereby are expelled from their posts of President & General secretary with immediate effect for beating mother and mother-in-law”.

Shambhu Das has replaced Manik Das as the SC Morcha Mandal President and Sampa Chowdhury has been appointed as General Secretary of Mohila Morcha 31.
