AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Resentments have been brewed among the JICA project’s terminated employees under Tripura Govt as out of the 638 employees few are still working in the office.
With the news fleshed, public have expressed shocks over the incident terming it an undemocratic action led by the state govt.
One of the employees , who is still working in the office has been identified as Rima Saha, working in MBPT in the JICA office.
When all employees were terminated, how she is working till day, it has triggered question.
Before one month, the JICA projects terminated staffs were told by the CM on April 25 that their jobs will be secured, but till now no action has been taken.
Noteworthy, on April 19 via a circulation the then JICA Project Director & CEO G.S.Raju issued the termination of the all contractual JICA officers, Livelihood Co-ordinators, Field Felicitators, outsourced personnel from immediate effect from April 19.
At the same time, over 36,000 people who were beneficiary from the project are undergoing tremendous tensions.
