AGARTALA, May 21 (TIWN): 21 Assam Rifles under aegis of 21 Sector Assam Rifles organised 'RUN FOR UNITY' at Killa in Gomati District on 21 May 2018.

The event received tremendous response from the local populace.  A total of 296 people including Youth, Children & Jawans participated in 5 Km Run. The event was flagged off by Shri Sanjit Debbarma, BDO Killa. First three finishers were awarded cash prices & medals.  The aim of organising the event was to spread awareness about peace and unity amongst the locals .

The selfless efforts of Assam Rifles was highly appreciated both by the locals and the civil administration.
