AGARTALA, May 16 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman made a surprise visit at GB Hospital once again but at the midnight after 12 am.
This is not the first surprise visit of the Health Minister at GB hospital but Barman often makes such visits.
This surprise visit has exposed, Chief Minister Biplab Deb's recent claim about "GB hospital developed 70 %" is not at all correct and Health Minister expressed his dissatisfaction over the condition of the hospital at midnight.
The Minister returned upset with the on-duty Doctors and Nurses irregularities and also observed the huge numbers of patients sleeping on the floor.
Barman also asked few the patient parties about their problems and heard their allegations against the GB hospital staffs and doctors, nurses.
With the surprise visit of the Minister patient parties are happy.
However, now states all hospitals, especially rural areas hospitals need the Health Minister's surprise visits as Tripura Health service is still pathetic in rural areas.
