AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): After Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb came under various controversies due to his imbalanced speeches, CPI-M Ex Chief Minister Lt Nripen Chakraborty’s grandson Sandeep Chakraborty said, “I requested Tripura’s people ahead of the Assembly Election from Trinamool dais, not to handover the power to a Cow-party, but Tripura people have committed that mistake".

“Whereas in work and development Biplab Deb is a failure, but via his talks revolutions are happening in Tripura everyday which is helping either to make the people laugh or to give them a surprise with Chief Minister's knowledge”, Chakraborty said.

“But after being mocked by people, Biplab Deb didn’t stop and he continued with gaffes. Thus the last one which he delivered was Rabindranath Tagore gave up his Nobel prize !”, he added.

Noteworthy, the journey of Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb had begun from epic story Mahabharata’s description by Biplab Deb at Pragna Bhawan on April 17, 2018 when he said, "Internet and satellites were existing in Mahbharata’s Era. Not US and other Western Countries, but the internet was invented by India before lakhs of years".

Then on 26th April, 2018 CM said ‘Diana Hayden was Unworthy to be Miss World ! Aishwarya Rai is okay to represent Laxmi, Saraswati’.

After that he said on Civil Service Day on April 27, “Mechanical engineers should not go for Civil Service but Civil Engineers should go”. On that day, Tripura CM also said, "Ideal wife should save money".

Finally, the 4th lead was when he asked state’s 8 lakhs youths to open paan-shop or breed cows for livelihood instead of running after politicians for jobs.

The last viral video was when CM said, “My Govt is not a bottle gourd. I’ll chop off nail if anybody tries to interfere in my govt”.

With all these, the Chief Minister Biplab Deb was punished to stay away from BJP election campaigns at Karnataka for now, unless and until he learns how to speak like a matured leader.

But he didn’t stop and the last controversy erupted after he said Tagore returned the Nobel prize to protest against the British.
