AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Tripura Congress ST-cell has accused the BJP as ‘Anti-tribal’, claiming the party BJP is not at all tribal-friendly.
“Before the election BJP showered sympathy for the tribals but now they are showing their actual faces”, in a press conference, Congress ST cell Sachindra Debbarma has announced it on Saturday.
“The BJP Govt before the election accused the other parties as anti-tribal but today they are promoting Hindi, instead of Kokborok”, he said.
“We on behalf of Congress are demanding that the govt should focus on elevating the Kokborok language as soon as possible”, Debbarma added.
The ST-cell of Congress also hit the BJP Govt alleging after two months of the election, no development has come in the ADC areas.
