AGARTALA, May 3 (TIWN ): Biplab Deb’s tussle with Sunil Deodhar reported by various national media outlets including Hindustan Times on Thursday. “As in-charge of the state, Deodhar wants to have say in Tripura. As chief minister, Deb wants to be in total command. The problem lies here,” this person said. This has also resulted in uncharacteristic behaviour, according to the second leader. For instance, Deodhar has started taking part in private events such as the inauguration of an automobile showroom in Agartala last week, this person added — a move that did not find favour with BJP top brass in the state and Delhi.

Deodhar was missing from the BJP’s state executive committee meeting in Tripura last month, and also skipped a workers conference in Agartala on Tuesday", Hindustan Times reported.

"A call to the Chief Minister’s office for a reaction to this story did not elicit a response”, Hindustan Times further reported on Thursay.

Journalist of Hindustan Times Uttam Kumar called the Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s office for a reaction but no response was given in this regard.

Sunil Deodhar said the reports about differences between him and the Chief Minister are totally incorrect.

“I needed to win the state. It was a difficult state, so I spent two years here. After victory I had a backlog of work for my organization, which I am completing now,” Deodhar said.

“Deodhar said now he spends only two to three days in a fortnight in Tripura and had informed the party that he would not be able to attend the meeting in Agartala because of his prior engagement with a programme organized by the Agra unit of the RSS. He added that he doesn’t remember anyone liking antiDeb comments on his Facebook . “Earlier I used to run my page and like all positive comments to encourage interaction. I am not handling it on my own (now), but I have not posted anything (against Deb). I will check”, the news portal mentioned.

Among the 8 Northeastern states, no Chief Minister turned such a joker before the country as Tripura Chief Minister. Indeed in mockery, the Tripura Chief Minister has broken the record of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal too. Instead of taking lesson even after insulting the India’s pride Diana Hayden and claiming Internet was existing in Maha Bharata’s era, the Chief Minister neither did apology nor rectified properly. After Mahabharata’s internet episode, the Chief Minister tried to justify him in national media. But those two videos turned to viral that were enough to end Biplab Deb’s image. But when he was trying to seal media’s mouths, question raises, who will seal his mouths ? Was it appropriate to mention Mahabharata’s story in E-Rationing programme ?? Was it rational to hit Diana Hayden and giving dress codes to women for all Indian ? When whole India was to accept his remarks, what was media fault to expose him ? Question also raises, who will seal their mouths ?

Congress of Karnataka in a statement said, “Why doesn’t the CM open a paan-shop and breed-cows to earn lakhs, when he is advising all with such suggestion”.

“Around 9 am, a vegetable seller brings bottle gourd to the market. However, it gets rotten by 9 am due to the repeated digging of nails by customers. So, Govt must be strict. It shouldn’t be like a bottle guard. If anybody touches my govt I will chop off the nail”, CM said in a programme.

Among the 6 hit controversies erupted by Tripura Chief Minister the latest was the 'paan shop' controversy now with the bottle guard story.

The first controversy which nationally made the Chief Minister popular had sparked, when he said, “Internet and satellites existed in Mahabharata-Era and via Internet Sanjay was giving live updates of Kurukshetra war to the blind king Dritarashtra”.

The second blow was CM’s claim about, Diana Hayden didn’t deserve the Miss-World award as she doesn’t look like an Indian woman and her style is unworthy to represent India. Indian women should be like Goddess Laxmi, Saraswati and Aishwarya Rai is still fine to title as Miss World. Not only this, CM also claimed there was no credit any Indian woman to get the Miss World or Miss Universe awards at all as such beauty-contests are fake and ramp walks are just for “shows”. The awardees names are selected before the competition.

Then he said in Civil Service day, Mechanical engineers should not go for Civil Service but Civil Engineers should go.

Finally, the 4th lead was when he asked state’s 8 lakhs youths to open paan-shop or breed cows for livelihood instead of running after politicians for jobs.

The last arrogance with ignorance was after there was another controversy with his speech of Buddha Purnima, whereas today he is again in National media after he said, “My Govt is not a bottle gourd. I’ll chop off nail if interfere in my govt”.

Now, various national media report on tussle among BJP’s top-heads indicates that “Motormouth” Biplab Deb tarnished BJP’s image nation-wide by “Internet in Mahabharata Era”, insulting remark on Dina Hayden kind of foolish uttering.
