AGARTALA, May 2 (TIWN): Union Minister for Power and Renewable energy , R.K.Singh has arrived in Tripura on Wednesday and inaugurated Saubhagya Scheme at the Pragna Bhawan.

The Saubhagya Scheme is an Indian government project to provide electricity to all households. The project was announced in September 2017 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been launched today.

Raj Kumar Singh is a former Indian bureaucrat and the current Minister of State in the Government of India. He is Member of the Indian Parliament since May 2014

Power Minister cum Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma was present on that occasion.
