AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): Following Chief Minister Biplab Deb led controversies including 1997 Miss World Diana Hayden row with masala-stories of 'India Women are replica of Laxmi , Saraswati' and CPI-M women wing’s press conference led by Jharna Das, BJP’s women wing ‘Mohila Morcha’ also conducted a mass gathering at the Agartala City.

A huge numbers of BJP supporters had joined the rally led by Mohila Morcha President Papia Datta on Tuesday at Agartala.

Addressing the gathering,  Mohila Morcha leader Advocate Kalaynai Roy said, “The BJP Govt under Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very much sympathetic for our mothers and sisters. Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is an example for it. It was possible only after PM Modi realized the pains of rural women, which no govt earlier understood”.

The programme was dedicated to strengthen the organizational power  and unity of the women’s wing.

Minister Santana Chakma also addressed the rally, encouraging them for self-assistance and to be independent.
