CPI-M’s controversial Nari-Netri Jharna Das is back ! says, ‘What I said, is natural in election campaigning’

AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): CPI-M’s controversial icon, MP Jharna Das who challenged BJP before the election that she will see all before the CPI-M led first cabinet meeting, with futuristic remarks as ‘Biplab Deb will run at Delhi after Election’, was back today in the dais with the Lok Sabha Election is left for 10 months only.

In a press conference, MP Jharna Das Biadya at Melarmath Headquarter alleged about various ongoing violence in the state under the BJP Govt. Addressing the press meet, Jharna Das said, “Today CPI-M leaders are bound to sign in resignation papers. If somebody comes in my house,the person is threatened. We are unable to launch protest, rallies. Such situation had never emerged in Tripura before….no democracy is existing anymore in Tripura”.

After the press conference she was asked by journalists to clarify about her controversial statement before election. In reply, Das said, “Before the election date’s announcement, such remarks came from all political parties. It was also said that Manik Sarkar will be sent to Bangladesh. So, such remarks were just attacks against the ongoing attacks of that time. That was totally a verbal attack and my warning was against them, who were spreading violence on that time”.

Noteworthy, Tripura MP Jharna Das Baidya before the election at korbook had delivered a vulgar speech but till day she didn’t make any apology even though the party secretary Bijan Dhar accepted the guilt. The MP said before election, “After 2018’s February month’s election we will take full revenge against all people who opposed us. BJP’s Biplab Deb will run to his wife at Delhi but where will you go ? Before the cabinet meeting we will take all measures of revenge”.
