AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): At least 71 SSA employees died since the project was launched in Tripura, but their family members have got nothing either as financial aid or as die-in-harness jobs.

This is the another major reason for which SSA teachers demanded to be regularized as after the teachers' sudden deaths, the family members become the highest sufferer.

If SSA teachers are regularized, automatically 5000 teachers shortage will be diminished in Tripura who are serving the Education Dept since decades on contractual basis.

But the previous CPI-M govt never showed any interest to regularize them, led the SSA teachers and employees to sit in hunger strike from August 1st, 2017 for long 7 days.

However, after the govt has changed there are high hopes among the teachers and employees that the state govt will regularize the SSA teachers on the urgent basis.
