AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma while addressing on the occasion of ‘World Veterinary Day’ at Pragna Bhawan on Saturday said, “We can not imagine a world without animals. This planet was created for human beings as well as animals tooâ€.
“We must give importance to the animal world”, he said.
“In Tripura, there is immense possibility of animal farming. Things have to be organized and shape in better forms, because farming are taking place in mostly unorganized sectors”
“We don’t have proper slaughter house which we need to progress. Hygiene has be maintained in animal products. We should have food processing units… a lot of things have to be done in coming days and for that each person’s cooperation from the Veterinary field will be necessary”, Jishnu Debbarma added.
