AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy has slammed the CPI-M for making a big issue after Governor had recommended his party friend, Sarvadaman Ray’s name in Biplab Deb led Tripura Govt’s service for a particular posts.
In a letter, Tathagata Roy told Tripura CM, “Sri Ray is a qualified Chartered Accountant and served in important position in the private sector.He is interested to serve your govt for purposes of interacting with possible entrepreneurs as well as for examination for accounts".
Governor recently has recommended his name to Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb via an official letter.
After the recommendation-letter was leaked, CPI-M had made it a big issue.
Hitting the CPI-M, Tathagata Roy said in a tweet, “I recommended to the CM of Tripura an old party,colleague and a Chartered Accountant for appointment in an advisory capacity. A perfectly normal and legitimate move. Now a Comrade has discovered the letter and is jumping around with the glee of Columbus discovering America. LOL!”
