AGARTA, April 27 (TIWN): Across the nation, public are splitting at Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb for his rude remark against beauty queen of India 1997’s Miss World Diana Hayden. Bipab Deb who led Tripura’s name everyday in national media with wrong reasons, has been slammed by Bollywood celebrities on Friday. Via NDTV 24x 7, the celebrities have demanded immediate action against Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb. Star Ira said, “There should be zero tolerance on such remarks against women. Especially Northeast like place’s state Chief Minister should talk more sensitively. Their speeches should not increase the discrimination more. The leaders of Northeast must think about the girls residing outside the state, who are already facing discrimination due to being Northeastern".

"There must be an immediate legislative action against Biplab Deb as it held after PM Modi’s latest warning to BJP leaders regarding their "talks". Moreover, who is he to judge women and claim that women should look like Goddess !”

Youths from Agartala called in NDTV raising voice that the CM must step down right now. One youth Rahul mentioned, “I myself voted for BJP. But today I am ashamed that I voted for BJP. Due to him Tripura is in National media everyday for wrong reasons”.

The former Miss World centering whose beauty all the criticism had been erupted Diana Hayden herself has given a message for Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb alerting him to 'Think before uttering anything'. 

"Think and prepare yourself before you speak in the public. When you are leader, you should be careful what you are speaking. Your words bring impact in a larger scale inside the society”, she said.

“Our skin colours are loved across the globe. I am hurt because I myself is engaged in various talks, lectures and grooming children with confidence by their skin colour”, Diana said.

The controversy was erupted, after Tripura Chief Minister on Thursday had certified Diana Hayden as “Unworthy” to be crowned as Miss World as she doesn't look like Laxmi and Saraswati, even though Aishwarya Rai is still okay !
