AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Once again Tripura students have sat in protest demanding registration and academic result and this time the protest has been done over National Highway at Amtali.

Amid, Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s strict warning to state's students to stay away from demonstrations or protests, the student have blocked National highway as even after various  protests and demands, the Education Dept is silent over the serious issue like registrations and the results of the students.

Recently, the resented students of 'Tripurasundari College of Nursing'  had locked the College gate and sat in protest at Tripura University. In the last year also due to delay in registration number, the students were not allowed to sit in examination by Tripura University but later with state govt's interference, the students were able to sit in the exam, but now this year the students are not able to get their result and marksheets.

Thus after two years, uncertainty have gripped the students leading mass tension led the students to lock the main gate. As a result the Principal and other officials were unable to move from the College right now. After the evening also the protest was continuing.

Tripurasundari college of Nursing was established in 2011 at Tripura by Prof.B.Sivaramakrishnan, Chairman, Sri Sankara Educational & Charitable Trust,Trichy,Tamilnadu.
