AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Expressing shocks over Biplab Deb’s remarks about 1997's Miss World from India Diana Hayden’s "beauty" and "Miss World is a corrupt international beauty pageant", Tripura Congress President Birjit Sinha said, “Biplab Deb is a Gyan-Papi, who has been gifted by Narendra Modi after the Election. But in the form of a Chief Minister, 37 lakhs people of Tripura have got a Gyan-Papi ! Only the Almighty knows what will happen to Tripura in next 5 years”. “I am unable to react on his remark, infact I don’t want to mention any comment. His one after one remarks are so meaningless and it's waste of time to value his remarks. How can a person talk like this, it’s surprising”, Sinha told TIWN over phone adding, "BJP Govt must focus on development rather than fooling people". Indian National congress also has condemned Biplab Deb remark. In a tweet, INC said, “It's all in the name for the BJP. Tripura CM Biplab Deb's 'vision' needs to be fine-tuned for 'vikas' instead”.

This is the second blow for the BJP, led by Biplab Deb’s controversial statement ahead of Karnataka-Election. This latest remark was after his Internet-Theory and claim of “Internet Existed in Mahabharata’s era” which turned world-wide popular. On that time global reactions led PM Modi to warn BJP leaders to stay away from any further "masala-mixed lectures".

But even after PM Modi’s warning what Biplab Deb yesterday remarked, it opened a new chapter of controversy.

On the 6 week of the Govt's formation in Northeast state Tripura, BJP Chief Minister's remarks were enough to ruin RSS, BJP’s image nation-wide and here in Tripura the Youth Icon Biplab Deb’s followers are expressing surprises with their leader’s actual face is exposing.

In the past 48 days four controversial statements of Biplab Deb came in media limelight :

1. Tripura’s tourist spot in Amarpur-Chabimura is better than Amazaon river and if the tourists don’t feel the same after visiting Chabimura, Chief Minister from own pocket will return the trip-expenses. CM also said, “Amazon River is located on Africa” (not South America),
2. Internet and satellites existed in Mahabharata-Era and via Internet Sanjay was giving live updates of Kurukshetra war to the blind king Dritarashtra,
3. Before lakhs of years India has Journalists. The “Pandits” of Raj-Durbar were actually journalists, whose work was to inform everything to the king,
4. Diana Hayden didn’t deserve the Miss-World award as she doesn’t look like an Indian woman and her style is unworthy to represent India. Indian women should be like Goddess Laxmi, Saraswati and Aishwarya Rai is still fine to title as Miss World. Not only this, CM also claimed there was no credit any Indian woman to get the Miss World or Miss Universe awards at all as such beauty-contests are fake and ramp walks are just for “shows”. The awardees names are selected before the competition.

Referring all the claims of the new Chief Minister of Tripura, state Congress president Birjit Sinha has called him a “Gyan Papi”.
