SONAMURA, April 24 (TIWN): A father was arrested when he was selling his 1 day old girl to another family.

The incident took place at Sonamura subdivision’s Gobindanagar located Santi Palli area.

Mizan Hossain and his wife Therina Begum sold their newborn baby to a man named Alauddin Mia, who has no children.

But the issue raised, as before 3 years Mizan Hossain’s daughter was lost and never she was found back.

Locals have alleged, Mizan sold her first daughter. 

Mizan is not a resident of India, but from Bangladesh who married an Indian woman Therina Begum.

Mizan said, as he is a Bangladeshi and so he is unable to arrange papers, documents for his daughters. Mizan has two sons, but he sold the daughters proving once again how till day girls are treated across the nation.

Police arrested Mizan Hossain in charge of illegally selling her new born baby.
