AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): BJP era day by day turning worst than CPI-M era as public sufferings continue. Public are sharply reacting against Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s tall claims about ‘suspending TSECL employees if within 6 hours the power is not returned’. But in reality, in last few years also such a long power cut Tripura’s capital city didn’t face which they are facing now. Across Banamalipur, Usha Bazar and in rural parts of the state, the people are suffering since yesterday but the customer care numbers are not properly working, nobody is picking up calls. As it’s Sunday, doubt remains how many lines will be fixed within today.

Tripura's multiple public sector run power plants NEEPCO, OTPC in addition to State Govt run plants which might given the rosy picture to BJP's new Chief Minister to announce State's upcoming status as a ‘Load-Shedding-Free state’ under BJP era. 

But the reality if state is heading toward  a dark future as the plants are incapable to produce enough amount of power surplus because 90% of the generated power sold off to other states is one of the main reason behind the condition of Tripura, which resulting low voltage, more load-shedding. State Govt's mismanagement badly affecting Tripura power production as Tripura has over Rs 500 crores dues to OTPC, NEEPCO and other Plants. Instead of 'loadshedding free' Tripura, now people have to start getting adjusted to frequent load-shedding”. 

On yesterday, throughout the day state Tripura has suffered from pathetic power connectivity and low voltage was reported in various parts of Agartala City.In the Banamalipur area, from Math Chowmuhani to various spots people passed whole day under low voltage. Many trees, houses were also damaged in the heavy wind-blow. In many ADC and rural areas the power connectivity was fully cut  and yet to return.

TSECL workers were seen unable to find out the fault. Now since the morning, public are busy to finish their morning works including cooking, bathing and washing as the power may disappear anytime.

Due to long load-shedding, low voltage situation across State, already public comparing BJP with CPI-M era, so rather than promised 'Ram-Rajjya' as promised by BJP, instead Biplab Deb Govt becoming a 'Ravan Era' due to lameduck Government's hapless functioning.
