AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Sufferings of Agartala City's residents have started like each year's monsoon season.

Following a 30 minutes rain, water-logging had hit the Capital City Agartala today afternoon. 

As the Govt is new, so it can't be blamed much right now, even though Chief Minister Biplab Deb promised that in this monsoon there will be no suffering for the common people.

Also machines were set at the Orient Chowmuhani area, but when rain came, the City couldn't be saved from water-logging.

The normal lives were highly interrupted due to the rain. 

Under the previous CPI-M govt, the situation turned so pathetic that the then Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had to take  bus to reach secretariat.
