AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): Ultra Marathoner Samir Singh alongwith three others, including Kenyan national reached BSF HQ Panisagar here in Tripura.

The Marathon is sponsored under the AEGIS of programmeBHARAT KE VEERwas earlier flagged off by Director General BSF Sh K K Sharma, IPS from Wagha Border on 01 Dec 2017.

Samir Singh started his run from Attari –WaghaBorder  andduring Marathon, covered states like Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odessa, West Bengal and Assam in 134 days  of run.On an average, the Marathoners cover a distance of 100 Kms per day.

Till date the Marathon has covered approx.13,400Kms. TheMarathon will further move on to Mizoram followed by Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh  and other states.
