MELAGHARH / AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): On Chaitra Sankranti morning, two brothers have drowned in river Gomati today at Melaghar.

The incident took place at Jittali of Melagharh when the two brothers went to take bath on the morning of Chaitra Sankranti.

The two boys are sons of Mohonbhog resident Dilip Ghosh : Dipayan Ghosh (9), Debajit Ghosh (11). 

Dipen Ghosh's dead body has been recovered from river Gomati at Melagharh, whereas searches for Debajit Ghosh are going on.
