Rain flops first VIVO IPL Fan Park at Agartala : Resentment brews among cricket lovers

AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): Much awaited VIVO IPL Fan Park gathering was spoiled at the Astabal Stadium due to rain, which has hit the Capital City Agartala in the afternoon.

As there was no need of any passes to attend VIVO IPL Fan Park at Astabal Stadium today, thus since 3 pm youngsters started gathering.

On yesterday, Tripura Sport Minister Manoj Deb also inspired the cricket lovers to attend the gathering in the fan club at the Astabal.

Such gathering of cricket lovers is first time in Tripura, but due to the sudden rain all celebrations were spoiled.

The rain has also affected the gatherings at Chaitra Fair, on the last day of shopping. The sudden rain was unexpected when city was busy with Bengali new year's celebration.

However, if the weather turnes normal again from evening the gatherings are expected.

The schedule of IPL matches are :

April 14

1) Mumbai Indians Vs. Delhi Daredevils : 4 pm (Live from Mumbai),

2) Kolkata Knight Riders Vs. Sunrisers Hyderabad : 8 pm (Live from Kolkata).

April 15

1) Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs. Rajastan Royals : 4 pm (Live from Bangalore),

2) Kings XI Punjab Vs. Chennai Super Kings : 8 pm ( Live from Indoor)
