AGARTALA, April 13 (TIWN): CPI-M leader, Ex-transport Minister Manik Dey today has claimed on behalf of CITU that many of their party workers are bound to leave the state as BJP is not allowing them to work.
Addressing a press conference, Dey said, "A person may believe in any political ideology but just because of his political thinking, nobody can snatch his/her rights. But, in Tripura BJP is doing this. The present condition in Tripura is more dangerous than the Emergency situation".
"Tripura has undergone many emergency situations, but in my whole life, I never saw such an emergency situation", Manik Dey said.
"At the beginning we thought the situation will be recovered soon, but day by day it's turning bad. Across the subdivisions the situations are same", he said.
The CPI-M leader also claimed that few Madhyamik candidates were not allowed to sit in exam.
"In emergency situations people couldn't speak, but they had rights to earn bread and butter, but today those rights have been taken away", Manik Dey said urging the BJP Govt to fix the 'lawless situation'.
