AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): Tripura IIIT Academic session will begin from this year i.e. 2018-19, in a press meet Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has announced today.

IIIT complex will be developed at Bodhungnagar area within few years.

Indian Institutes of Information Technology are a group of institutes of higher education in India, focused on information technology. Five of them are established, funded and managed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the rest is on PPP Model.

However, Tripura IIIT will be fully based on PPP model.
