AGARTALA, April 11 (TIWN): "Tripura Election results to bring heavy affects across nationwide CPI-M's protest", said CPI-M Secretary Bijan Dhar after the State Committee meeting.

"In the presence of topmost Politburo Prakash Karat, Tripura CPI-M held the state committee meeting for last 2 days. Soul discussed matter of the state committee meeting was centred with election result review", Bijan Dhar told media. 

"The defeat was unexpected, which has affected the Left movements nationally, at least for a certain period of time. It has also created a crushing situation allover the nation for the left movements", Dhar said.

"But we have to accept the defeat. However behind the defeat the cause was mainly anti-left vote banks emerged ahead of the election. BJP has also supported the self-centered mindset of the new generation and fully utilized them by their trickery", Dhar said.
