AGARTALA, April 10 (TIWN): Politburo Prakash Karat has landed in Agartala today to attend the state committee meeting at Melarmath Headquarter.

Total 10 places have been visited by the CPI-M leader, where their party offices were attacked by miscreants. 

Following the visit of Karat, CPI-M's state committee meeting has been started from 4 pm. However, whether the state committee meeting will be continued till tomorrow or not it has not been announced yet. 

Prakash Karat who was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India from 2005 to 2015 had met the Tripura CPI-M leaders at Delhi in the last Central Committee meeting from March 28 to March 30.
