Kamalpur, April 7 (TIWN): The welfare schemes of the Union government for the upliftment of the socio-economic condition of the people were kept hidden during the last leftist regime for their own petty political interests. But the new government initiated to aware this to every citizen. And hence the awareness campaign started in a grand fashion at Town Hall at Ambassa this afternoon in the presence of the Chief Minister(CM) Biplab Kumar Deb, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman, Minister Manoj Kanti Deb and the MLAs of the district.
In the programme, the CM put emphasis on the economic stability of the youths. He claimed that, the scope of the government jobs became limited and hence the youths should use the wider and greater opportunity of the ample natural resources of the state. He assured that, the state government would extend helping hand to the youths. And the banking institutions would also be in a friendly manner. The other two Ministers also spoke in the same tune and also urged the youths to utilise the opportunity.
Thousands of people from around the district gathered in the campaign. Such campaigns would be held at block levels.
