TIWN April 5, 2018

AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN): Agriculture Dept’s officials negligence have once again exposed as it was informed that at least 166 employees under Agriculture Dept have remained unpaid since four months. Ahead of the election, following various protests 166 Block Technology manager (BTM) , Assistant Technology manager (ATM) were appointed. But even though the govt has been changed, but the CPI-M’s closed officials were never reshuffled in the dept. leading problems faced by the public in every steps. Due to the unpaid salaries, the employees are undergoing heavy financial crisis. Resentment fueled among the 166 employees' as since their appointments they have not got their salaries. The employees have totally blamed the Krishi Bhawan high officials who have always been rude to solve any problem.
Thus a reshuffling in the agriculture dept is needed on urgent basis. Who can forget how Director of Agriculture Dept D P Sarkar’s official phone was used to threaten the graduates of Agriculture Dept who demanded their rights for being employed in ‘fair means’.
