TIWN April 1, 2018
AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): BJP Govt is sweating almost to fulfill its written pre-poll promises like 7th Pay Commission, regularization of irregular employees, smartphones for youths, house to house jobs, CBI investigation against chit fund. But there are many unwritten promises, which the BJP Govt had promised in words. The 1992-1993 job victims met at Umakanta Stadium today and unofficially few of them directly mentioned, "The new govt's performance is nothing extra ordinary. It's getting sweated with basic promises, which it made through vision-document. But we also mworked for BJP as a part of the Anti-left votebanks. Isn't there any responsibility of the govt to us ?" Another victim said, "We were the victims of for not being CPI-M in Dasarath Deb's time. In this situation we worked earlier for Congress and then for BJP and struggled a lot to change the govt also in this Assembly Election, as we hoped that some changes will come to the state once BJP comes".The job victims of 1993 for the second time have met at Umakanta stadium today under the banner of 'Tripura Rajya Offer Prapta Bekar Sangstha'.
One victim said, "We filed case in the court against our job cancellation, but the case was in our capacity till High Court and after that state govt took the case at Supreme Court, but at Supreme Court we didn't fight further, as it was beyond our economic condition".
Another 60 years man told TIWN, "We have been deprived since 25 years. Now we got a new government and our hopes are high that the BJP Govt will do a justice to us", another . However, many of those Ass. teachers job aspirants have become overaged.
The teachers met the press disclosing a historical deprivation done by the CPI-M Govt under Dasarath Deb in 1993. Before one year of the election, unemployed youths received their offer letters in 1992 under the Congress Govt, but after assuming the power, the CPI-M Govt immediately cancelled the offer letters without showing any cause behind the cancellation.
Then in those posts they appointed CPI-M comrades directly. Even though the deprived people had filed cases on that time, but due to their poor economic condition, the cases couldn't continue. Apart from that on that time the system was not so transparent as now under the High Court and Supreme Court.
