AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): Tripura CM Biplab Deb has inaugurated workshop at Pragna Bhawan on Disaster Management.

The programme was conducted with the joint venture of Indian Building Congress, Tripura Centre, West Bengal  Centre of Tamilnadu and CPWD, Tripura zone & NIT.

IBC Chairman Er C Debnath,  DG CPWD Er Abhai Kr. Sinha,  Vice Chairman Er S K Nandi also remained present in the programme.

Disaster Management is the organization and management of resources and responsibilities for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies. The aim is to reduce the harmful effects of all hazards, including disasters. It's important very Tripura as the states comes on the toplist of earthquake prone areas.
