AGARTALA, March 27 (TIWN): Biplab Deb led BJP's failure to run CBI investigation in Rose Valley chit fund scam has cost the party image heavily today during Assembly Day-3. When before the Election BJP had propagated its party with a 'clean' image amid in the presence of chit fund tainted like Assam BJP Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, West Bengal BJP leader Mukul Roy, at the same time BJP has totally failed to down CPI-M's image even after the election. From Bijita Nath to Gautam Das nobody could be traced by CBI in Rose Valley links and the same time BJP failed to down Manik Sarkar's clean image with appropriate logics. Now, after assuming power in Tripura, BJP has once again delayed the CBI investigation in Rose Valley, which has already generated criticism against BJP's 'works' and 'words'. And, finally CPI-M has hit BJP with Rose Valley issue, asking them to stop boosting 'fake' about CPI-M' involvement in Rose Valley. Addressing at the Assembly, former Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha said, "Don't threat us with CBI. We are not afraid to go to jail. But why are you delaying CBI investigation ?"
"Earlier CPI-M leaders in many false cases pushed to jail. So if similar thing happens then, we don't care. Call CBI and prove CPI-M's involvement in the Chit Fund scams, if you can", Bhanu Lal Saha told the BJP leaders.
On yesterday a similar situation had erupted after CPI-M MLA Badal Choudhury asked BJP Govt to run investigation against CPI-M if they think CPI-M was in corruption and did irregularities with Central funds.
The CPI-M leader's claim received a ground as since the election result BJP Govt officially did't mention about Rs. 35,000 crores of Rose Valley which took place in the long regime of CPI-M, neither it showed any interest to call CBI in Tripura chit fund scams.
