Agartala, 20th August (TIWN) Corruption at government level is in rise at few particular areas. Public fund in blocks are being embezzled and this is resulting to various related issues.

Serious irregularity has been reported under National Rural Employment Guarantee Project (NREGP) in Debachora village of chamanu block. A fund of around Rs. 4 lakhs is supposed to be mishandle and the main accused is the Panchayat Secretary, Karna Tripura. Police have initiated its search to trashed and arrest him.

Local people are suspecting that proper investigation, if put in place, more scams may be reported.
