AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Even though DGP A K Sukla has warned facebook users as well as public to stay away from all kinds of rumous related to violence, CPI-M has strongly claimed about the ongoing violence led by BJP in the state. Not only this, CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury is visiting various spots of Tripura and reviewing the violence. Various burnt houses pictures are being shown in CPI-M's facebook page. A critical picture has been displayed in that page, where a boy was lying in hospital bed at Gandacherra, with severe injuries on face and his one eye was also injured pathetically. Claiming it is an attack by the BJP and RSS, CPI-M said, " RSS-BJP attempt to killed left youth workers with chopper at Gandacherra".On yesterday, DGP A K Shukla warns public, facebook users not to spread any coloured stories and rumours.
DGP also said, 'Attempts made to spread rumour about lawless condition of Tripura but from now if anybody tries to take law in hand, strict actions will be taken'.
"Many people have been arrested in last few days, but the situation is now totally under control and in coming days also police will be hyperactive to keep the peace on Police in earlier times also helped the people and whenever they were called, police rushed to the spot", he said.
"But inspite of all these, untoward incidents somehow had been reported, but from now I like to alert the people of Tripura, don't try to create any disturbance in the coming days", DGP added.
"Via media we want to announce that strict actions will be taken against each lawbreaker. Nobody will be pardoned, if found involved in any kind of violence in the coming days", said DGP.
