Rs. 11,000 crores road constructions expected in next 2 years in Tripura under BJP Govt

AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Amid the pathetic condition of Tripura’s roadmaps, Rs. 11,000 crores of road construction is expected in next two years under the BJP Govt as it was promised by Union Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari just before the election. During poll campaigning, Gadkari said, "Tripura roads are left in so pathetic shape that people are unable to travel through bikes and vehicles at safeHowever, under the Modi Govt the road-maps across country are developing a lot. All the highways are being constructed are under my dept. I promise you after BJP comes in power Rs. 11,000 crores road construction will take place in next 2 years". After BJP had formed its Govt in Assam, roadway developments met the state, especially the Assam-Agartala road which drastically reformed after 15 years long pathos.

Tripura PWD also after a long slumber, to wake up as a new state govt has been formed in Tripura led by BJP, which is also centrally powered.

Tripura’s first BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb had assumed charge as CM on yesterday and right now, the PWD Dept to be handled by the CM, whereas Transport Dept is under MLA Pranajit Sigha Roy. Now, state is waiting to see when the state govt will kick of its mission of developing roadmaps.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in BJP's swearing-in programme at Agartala claimed that after this election, the whole Nation will be looking at the Northeast zone with a different perspective. “I never targeted Northeast with election purpose, but this time Northeast has experienced a different focus from each corners of the nation’. ‘Few elections are analysed, discussed for a long time and Tripura election will be one of such elections will be remembered in history in long-run”, said Modi.

National BJP President Amit Shah said that Tripura which is already under Northeast-developmental roadmap will undergo a massive development under the new BJP Govt. Addressing the gathering, Shah said, “I thank the people of Tripura for choosing BJP as their Govt. I assure you, our team led by Biplab Deb will progress Tripura and soon the state will emerge as a model state”.

“People of Tripura have been waiting for the day for a long time to see development, prosperity and peace in the state. I fully believe that our new team will work in that way and fulfill Prime Minister’s mission of Northeast development”, said Shah.

“Since Prime Minister Modi is there, across the Northeast development’s paths have been widened. Since the independence even though budgets were allocated, but it never took developmental move and today after the BJP Govt has been formed the path of development in Tripura has been opened”, he said.
