AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): In the first meeting with media after election results, Congress President of Tripura Birjit Sinha claimed that Congress will surely become a stronger party in coming days.
Addressing the press, Sinha said, "In 1977-78 also Congress downed heavily but it overcame the weakness. Nobody can say after 5 years, which party will win the election".
"The CPI-M and BJP both are same, doesn't matter who comes in power", added Sinha.
However, the Congress leader accepted that Congress's result in the election was heavily bad but claimed to move again.
In the upcoming LS Election also, Sinha said, "BJP will lose".
Talking to the media, Birjit Sinha condemned the Lenin Statue's pulling down, adding, "With Mahatma Gandhi's statue same was done in CPI-M ruled Kerala".
Bundles of allegations, Sinha raised against the BJP saying after coming in power BJP is occupying all Congress party offices by putting their flags.
