AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): TIWN is receiving hundreds of calls from terminated 10323 teachers even though the cabinet has not yet formed by the BJP. However, according to the last information, the matter was under in the Central Law Dept and discussions are going on regarding the relaxation of the terminated Tripura's 10323 teachers, who lost their jobs in a Supreme Court verdict recruited by the CPI-M Govt. Now, state is eyeing for 10323 teachers pending issue and how to overcome the Supreme Court's verdict as BJP before coming in power promised to solve the problems of terminated teachers. Tripura's last Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty said, "10323 will be a very complicated matter for the BJP to solve. There are two ways and one is to modify the constitution through an amendment bill in the parliament and another is to set up a relaxation with the permission of SC.

Passing the bill will not be easy as along with Tripura, there are many states' teachers who lost their jobs in similar manners at the Supreme Court. Valediction act is also another means but for that also you need to have the permission from the central govt".

Noteworthy, 10323 Teachers illegal recruitment and subsequent termination caused CPI-M’s political turmoil beyond repair. When SC had given its last verdict it said on ad-hoc basis the teachers can continue their jobs for 6 months, but in the verdict it was also said that 'No further appeal will be accepted anymore in this issue'.

Tripura BJP before the election had claimed that by modifying the law, the 10323 terminated teachers jobs to be extended for some more years through Central Govt’s help so that they can build up their career in the mean time. Tapan Chakraborty said, "We also demanded the same, but it's complicated as the bill has to passed in the Assembly".

Now, tensions have gripped the teachers as their last date of ad-hoc basis job 30th June, 2018.
