AGARTALA / MANDAI, March 5 (TIWN): MP Jiten Chowdhury today has alleged that the IPFT supporters have burnt nontribal people's shops at Mandai of West District.

Addressing a press conference, Jiten Chowdhury said, "BJP must come forward to fix all in-disciplinary elements of their party. The movement they talked before coming in power saying 'Cholo Paltai', they must prove it through their responsibilities and liabilities to the people".

"Today at around 3 PM at Mandai 400-500 IPFT activists went to attack the party office of CPI-M. Near to the party office, few shops of non-tribal people were totally burnt. All of them were not CPI-M supporters, but IPFTs have burnt BJP supporters' shops too. SP and DM have rushed to the spot", added Jiten Chowdhury.

The MP also alleged that BJP, IPFT have begged mercies today from the administration after IPFT people circulated slips to the Bodhjungnagar businessmen, threatening them to give IPFT hefty amounts of money.
