 'Our 49 party-workers injured, 17 hospitalized : CPI-M must name a single injured party activist' : Subal Bhowmik

AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Counterattacking CPI-M's allegation of BJP is instigating violence, BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik said, "CPI-M must show a single party activist of them who was injured by BJP".

"Our 49 activists were attacked physically and with 17 left hospitalized including few activists sent to outside the state for treatment. Many are admitted in GB but few unknown faces are sponsoring violence to malign the BJP", said Subal Bhowmik.

"Injured activist of Sepahijala Prasenjit Saha, Hakim Ali were injured. Billal Mia has undergone  18 stitches on head, Mantu Saha admitted in GB Trauma Centre. Pritam Saha, Bikram Saha, Bhajan Shil were injured. Among them Bhajan Shil is admitted in AMRI Hospital", he said.

"Yesterday in few unknown faces led by Khowai SPO and commandant had attacked few houses where 11 BJP supporters, including 6 women and 5 men were injured", he added.

After announcing it, Subal Bhowmik further warned the BJP activists not to step in CPI-M's intrigue and if they are found in any such activity, they will be suspended from the party and also legal, administrative action will be taken against them.
